- Effective from
Wording of the consent to receive marketing communication under § 116 of Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on Electronic Communications and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Source of the wording: opinion counsel-opinion-2026-08-05.md, Part I/5.6.
1. Checkbox wording (registration)
The box is shown at registration, un-prechecked and separate from the registration terms; granting the consent is not a condition of registration or of using the Service.
☐ I consent to WebHeroes s.r.o. (operator of the Klubos service) sending news and information about the Klubos service and its features to my e-mail. The consent is voluntary — registration and use of the service do not depend on it — and I may withdraw it at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in every e-mail or in my account settings; the withdrawal will be confirmed to me. Details of the processing are in the Privacy Policy.
2. Explanatory text next to the box
Displayed in the immediate vicinity of the checkbox:
The consent is processed by WebHeroes s.r.o., Jaseňová 3249/38, 949 01 Nitra, Slovakia, Company ID 53 202 309, for the purpose of sending news and information about the Klubos service and its features. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) and § 116 of Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on Electronic Communications. You can withdraw the consent as easily as you granted it: via a toggle in your account settings or by clicking the "unsubscribe" link contained in every message sent. We will demonstrably confirm the withdrawal within 30 days at the latest (§ 116(6)). We keep the record of the granting of the consent and of the withdrawal confirmation for the duration of the consent and for a further 4 years after its withdrawal (§ 116(5) and (6)).
3. Mechanics (binding implementation parameters)
- The marketing audience is built exclusively from the registration consent flag — never from member data processed for clubs, and never from e-mail addresses of invitees who have not completed registration.
- Stored: the version of the consent wording, time of granting, account identifier; on withdrawal, the time of withdrawal and the time the withdrawal confirmation was sent.
- Every message contains an unsubscribe link, the sender's identity and an address at which the sending can be stopped (§ 116(15)).
- Consent is never requested by e-mail (§ 116(4)) — the only acquisition channel is the checkbox at registration.
4. Changes
This document is versioned; the Slovak version is binding. Effective from 1 August 2026 (client decision 2026-08-05).
